About Me

Hello! I’m May Thazin Myo (Mie), currently pursuing my degree in Computer Science, where I’m building a solid foundation in programming, software development, and data analysis. My academic journey has been filled with opportunities to explore diverse areas within computer science—from foundational concepts in algorithms and data structures to more specialized subjects like database management, web development, and artificial intelligence. Each new topic has reinforced my commitment to developing practical skills and gaining a deeper understanding of technology’s role in solving real-world challenges.

I’m always motivated to learn new technologies and keep up with emerging trends. My academic journey has been a continuous learning process, and I’m excited to apply this knowledge in innovative ways as I move forward in my career. Whether it’s collaborating on group projects or diving into independent study, I’m driven to make the most of my education and contribute meaningfully to the field of technology.

Outside of academics, I’m also deeply interested in K-pop, which brings a fun and energetic soundtrack to my life! You can find me on social media under May Thazin Myo on Facebook, where I enjoy connecting with friends and sharing snippets of my life and projects. I’m always excited to meet new people with similar interests, whether in tech, music, or sports.

My Current Projects

Currently, my main focus is my non-academics  project, a restaurant management system that combines front-end and back-end development to deliver a full-stack solution. This project aims to streamline various restaurant operations by managing key functions like orders, reservations, and customer data. The front-end interface is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, ensuring that staff can navigate and use the system with ease, while the back-end handles data storage, retrieval, and processing. This experience has been invaluable in helping me master the intricacies of full-stack development and deepening my understanding of how databases, APIs, and front-end frameworks come together in a cohesive system.

Additionally, I’m working on an interactive tutorial app, accessible here, which is aimed at sharing coding resources and best practices with other learners. This project has allowed me to experiment with front-end design principles, focusing on accessibility and engagement to ensure that users can easily navigate and learn from the content. Building this app has expanded my skills in user experience design, emphasizing the importance of clear and concise interfaces for educational resources.

These projects are not only helping me develop technical expertise but also shaping my approach to problem-solving. By working on real-world applications, I’m able to understand the demands of users and the nuances involved in creating scalable, efficient, and user-friendly software. It’s an exciting phase in my journey, and I look forward to building on these experiences as I continue to develop my skills.
